Overview:
We are currently looking to recruit a Leinsterbased Field Engineer for the IMS Engineering department.
Location primarily in Dublin, but covering the island of Ireland, with projects also in the UK and Europe.
The applicant will be joining a highly skilled, diligent, and initiative focused team of engineers who take pride in every aspect of their work, and whose values represent the core principles of IMS connect.

This vacancy is a full-time permanent position.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to grow and learn in the business whilst also having autonomy to voice opinions and suggestions that lead to consistent operational improvements.
The available position will require the candidate to fulfil varying degrees of responsibilities both from a field engineer perspective but also from an administrative perspective as we look to strengthen our service engineer position in Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
This hybrid approach will provide the successful candidate with excellent opportunities to display strong initiatives and help to develop and grow the IMS connect brand.
Freedom to travel across these regions immediately, is a fundamental prerequisite of the role.
Roles and responsibilities:
The onsite installation of commissioned IMS connect product range include but are not limited to: Wi-Fi, IPTV, AV, Digital Signage, IP Telephony, Casting, Energy Management
Configuration assistance both onsite and in IMS connect offices with our NOC department to aid with Irish and international project deployments.
Support and maintenance of IMS connect systems across all client properties while responding within agreed SLAs.
Work collaboratively with your colleagues in surveying, designing, and delivering network installations.
Stock management – Cooperative management of equipment with the IMS connect procurement officer
Logistic management to ensure delivery of stock to projects for both clients and IMS connect colleagues.
Compliance with utilising CRM, documentation, and communication platforms.
Always represent the IMS connect brand with utmost professionalism and ensure the highest of respect is displayed to all stakeholders alike.
Essential Skills & Experience:
2+ years' experience in the electrical, energy, security, or networking sectors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and complete job related documentation.
Comprehensive organisational, prioritising, and planning skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and proven high work standards with a focus on quality and consistency of accomplished works.
A passion for delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction is essential.
Full clean driving licence is essential.
Solas Safepass or similar CSCS access card.
Travel throughout the Ireland, and internationally, for service delivery, project survey, and installation work, is a core requisite of the role, the successful applicant must be willing and able to travel immediately.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Manual handling and working at heights (ladder) certification is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Experience in working with software programmes Office 365, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, SharePoint etc.
Familiarity working with ticketing CRM platforms
A previous background in electrical systems to support Energy Management Solutions
Location:
The successful candidate will be based in the Dublin/Leinster region and primarily tasked with serving that region.
However, the role will require flexibility to travel in the Island of Ireland, UK, & EU.
