We are supporting a leading Engineering organisation renowned for its commitment to digital innovation and sustainability.
With a strong focus on optimising energy and operational efficiency, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support key activities on a high-profile site in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out start-up and commissioning across a broad range of secure power equipment, including UPS systems.
Assess the quality and readiness of installed systems prior to activation.
Perform site-based electrical adjustments to optimise system performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality, software, or operational conditions, including root cause analysis.
Collaborate closely with other engineers during on-site activities.
Provide technical support for installation, modification, and repair of power systems.
Deliver user training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
Manage both preventative and corrective maintenance activities for secure power systems.
Engage with clients both on-site and remotely to ensure effective communication and support.
Skills & Experience Required
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven track record in commissioning or field-based service work within secure power environments.
Hands-on experience with secure power systems including UPS units, battery cabinets, and transfer switches.
Strong background in installation and commissioning within data centre environments is highly desirable.
Capable of diagnosing and repairing electronic systems down to component level.
