Due to continued growth my client wishes to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage, review, and coordinate electrical design and construction drawings; resolve technical issues and drive solutions.
· Provide expert technical advice and guidance to subcontractors and site teams on all aspects of electrical engineering.
· Lead and prioritise tasks for the technical team, ensuring timely and efficient execution of works.
· Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure full compliance with project plans, schedules, and Health & Safety regulations.
· Proactively identify and resolve issues using established troubleshooting and root-cause analysis techniques.
· Oversee document control processes, ensuring all logs, records, and technical documentation are maintained and updated.
· Prepare and coordinate test packs and handover documentation for electrical systems in line with commissioning and client requirements.
· Promote and enforce high standards of compliance and governance
Specific Requirements
· Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg.
Bachelor's degree in engineering
· 5 years experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
· Strong understanding of HSE requirements on large-scale projects
· Data Centre experience is advantageous
· Excellent organisational, communication and time management skill
· Competency in MS Office and document control software
