Laboratory Technician

Reports to: the Laboratory Manager (home laboratory)Summary of position:The laboratory technician I is charged with activities in the technical and laboratory field for the enrichment and processing of sex sorted bovine semen.Duties and responsibilities:Processing of sexed sorted bovine semen.Operating sorting machines.Technical reporting.Adhering to organizational and company policies.Performing tasks in compliance with safety, health, and quality protocols.Sample preparation(s).Working rotational shifts (day, night, and weekends as required).Education and qualifications:Secondary vocational education biology, chemistry or agricultural science.Working knowledge in Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).Proficient in technical laboratory skills.Working knowledge in English, both written and verbal.Proficiency in a second foreign language is preferred.Computer literate.Level 8Full drivers licenseSkills:Hands-on, delivering results and achieving targets.Team player.Accurate, analytical, and efficient.Flexible and resilient under stress.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
