Mechanical Technician – Maintenance PlumberReporting directly to the Facilities Manage.Dublin 18.€52k - €54k plus van, pension and healthcare, plus benefits.Corporate Headquarters maintenance.Key Responsibilities.The mechanical technician shall be responsible for day to day running of all elements of the reactive and planned maintenance for all mechanical equipment on the contract.This shall integrate with the building management systems.Main Duties Shall include (but not be limited to);The delivery of all planned maintenance of mechanical equipment in line with the contract requirementsThe implementation of self-perform maintenance tasks on the contract through the CMMS system (Maximo)The management of third-party maintenance contracts through the CMMS systemThe implementation of reactive maintenance as required.This includes the response to management and closure of tickets through the client's online ticket system and reactive maintenance as assigned by the lead technician through the Maximo CMMS systemDevise preventative measures to avoid equipment breakdown and maintain business continuityCreation and maintenance of asset lists and historic recordsResearch & development of proposals to improve the performance of the mechanical systemsThe reviewing of third-party risk assessments and methods statements and the awarding of permits through the online permitting systemManagement of onsite minor works projectsAttendances where require assisting project teams on large scale refurbishments, fit outs or new builds associated with contractAttendance at client meetings when required by the Contract ManagerThe maintenance and upkeep (cleaning and tidying) of the plant areasThe completion of weekly building walkthroughs to identify any issues which need attentionRequirements:Minimum Fetac Level 6, QQI, City and Guilds or equivalent trade qualificationMinimum 3 years' experience working with mechanical systems in an installation or maintenance capacityFully competent in the use of computersProfessional imagine and demeanourFamiliarity with Maximo computer-based facilities management package an advantage
