About UsWe are a lng established and ambitious business based in Galway, operating in a dynamic commercial environment.As we scale operations, we are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join our team and take a lead role in managing internal finance functions, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring financial compliance across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & CompliancePrepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with FRS.Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, including VAT, PAYE, RCT, and Corporation Tax filings.Strategic Financial SupportSupport the leadership team with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Provide commercial insights and analysis to guide operational and strategic decisions.Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency.Bookkeeping & Payroll OversightOversee day-to-day bookkeeping processes and maintain accurate financial records.Manage payroll and ensure timely submissions in line with regulatory requirements.Cross-Functional SupportCollaborate with senior managers across departments to support financial planning and resource allocation.Act as a financial point of contact for internal queries and business initiatives.RequirementsQualifications & ExperienceFully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA preferred).Minimum 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in a commercial or fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of Irish accounting standards and tax regulations.Skills & CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €70,******-€95,****** per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeFree or subsidised travelOn-site parkingWork Location: Hybrid remote in Headford Rd, Galway H91 C3N1
