Customer Support Engineer YOUR RESPONSIBILITY As a critical member of our clients customer support team, you will be instrumental in delivering breakdown, maintenance, and training services to our diverse customer base. The successful candidate will be expected to: Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. Diagnose faults using software tools and systems. Install automated equipment at customer sites in collaboration with other trades and contractors. Identify and rectify faults, as well as recommission existing systems. Commission mechanical and electrical control systems in conjunction with fellow team members. Conduct customer training sessions at their premises. Collaborate with other engineers during project deployment phases to ensure the successful delivery of turn-key systems to our customers. YOUR PROFILE WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking candidates with a craft engineering qualification and experience in OEM\Automotive and general industry manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented with a positive outlook and a strong focus on delivering high-quality work with attention to detail. Willingness to travel frequently in Ireland is essential. Knowledge required includes: Proficiency in service tools and applications, both PC and cloud based. Advantageous experience with Siemens S7 and Rockwell PLC fault finding. Detailed knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce CRM. Successful candidates will possess professionalism, credibility, and a keen eye for detail. They should demonstrate a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering systems related to automation and robotics.
