Job Specification: Kitchen PorterLocation: Midleton, Co.CorkHours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PMDays Off: Sunday and MondayOverview:We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team in our busy café and foodstore.The ideal candidate will play a key support role in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency in the kitchen and back-of-house areas.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.Wash pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and other kitchen items promptly and efficiently.Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.Keep floors clean and free of hazards (e.g., mopping, sweeping, removing spills).Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations as required at all times.Ensure back-of-house areas (e.g., storage, fridges, bins) are clean and well organised.Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.A strong work ethic and attention to detail.Good level of physical fitness – the role involves standing for long periodsA positive attitude and willingness to learn.What We Offer:Competitive hourly wageFriendly and supportive team environmentDaytime hours only – no evening or night shiftsSundays and Mondays offStaff discount for lunch foodJob Type: Full-timePay: From €***** per hourBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingLanguage:English (required)Work Location: In person
