Customer Architect

Location: Dublin or Manchester - HybridAt Datalex, our people are our assets who enable the success of our customers.Our customers represent the world's leading travel retailers and recognise us for our world class products, talent, and partnership commitment.We are looking for a Customer Architect who is highly technically proficient, an excellent communicator, and has a strong customer orientation.This role is both customer facing and technical with a primary focus on delivering key customer features to production.The Customer Architect builds strong relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture.They are confident in advising our own project team and customers on matters of design, product enhancements, optimisation, and implementation, while being commercially aware and able to make sound judgement calls.If you are driven and enjoy working in fast paced environments, then this role is for youYou will have a front row seat on how the travel industry works today and help us stay ahead of the curve.Datalex partner with best of breed content and payment providers, you will get to work with the best in industry at every level.Key ResponsibilitiesTake a leadership role within the implementation team to deliver our product per customer requirements, driving architectural decisions and best practices – delivering on budget and on timeProvides consultancy services to our customers as they use our productManage the customer solutions & system architectureTranslate business requirements into system level design and detailed technical architecture documents in a clear, professional mannerIdentify product enhancements required and actively inform product management of the business valueWork with our Operations team to analyse the performance of our systems in a production environment and evaluate enhancements to our product for performance and cost benefitsContribute and agree on a strategic customer roadmap in collaboration with the leadership teamContribute to the long-term development of our product suiteIdentify opportunities for and drive Continuous Improvement activitiesExperience RequiredCustomer Facing Experience in previous roles requiredExperience with presenting at C-levelProven ability to operate within a multi-locational delivery team environment with both onsite and remote engagement.Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar roleE-Commerce (retail) industry experience and/or experience in a high transaction volume or mission critical cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)Excellent leadership and communication skillsMust be able to deliver high quality customer facing documentationBe a self-starter, have a strong problem-solving aptitude and does not accept the status quoAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment7+ years in application design and developmentExpert in some of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, SOA, JBoss, Tomcat, JDBC, SOAP, REST, OOD/OOA, .NET, HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, ReactExperience working with database systems such as Oracle, Postgres, MongoDBMust be able and willing to travel to other Datalex offices and Customer sites periodicallyKnowledge of the Airline industry is an advantage but not necessaryAbout DatalexAbout Datalex: Datalex's purpose is to transform airline retail.Datalex is a market leader in airline retail technology, offering unique products that enable airlines to drive revenue and profit as digital retailers.Datalex has a strong track record of delivering digital retail transformation for progressive airline brands worldwide, including Aer Lingus, easyJet, JetBlue Airways, Air China, Edelweiss, Air Transat, and Air Macau.The Group is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and maintains offices across Europe, the USA and China.In ****, Datalex was awarded the 'Great Place to Work' and 'Best Workplaces in Tech' certifications.Datalex plc is a publicly listed company on Euronext Growth, Dublin.Do you have eligibility to work and reside in the country of employment?Are you currently based in the country of employment?How many years experience do you have?We currently operate in a hybrid model.Would you be willing to be onsite 2 days per week?#J-*****-Ljbffr
