Established Independent Chemist/Pharmacy in Tuam is looking for a full time OTC/Sales assistant to join their team.You will work 5 days a week incl.weekend ROTA on saturday.The main duties of this role will be working front-of-house, liaising with customers and maintaining stock and shop appearance.Communication skills are essential.Previous pharmacy experience and experience with skincare brands is a plus.Duties and responsibilities:Providing outstanding customer service and expert advice with a friendly smileDriving sales to achieve the pharmacy's targetsBuilding and maintaining positive personal relationships with our customers.Providing excellent customer advice through product knowledgeSupporting colleagues and maintaining a positive working environmentMaintaining & Managing stock at optimal levels and replenishing stock.Ensuring stock is merchandised in an organised and attractive mannerKnowledge and experience required:Previous OTC sales and customer service experience is essentialPrevious experience in merchandising and purchasing a distinct advantageThe successful candidate will have:Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.A positive can do attitude and work well with a team.A work ethic centered on customer service.A minimum of 1 year's experience working in retail pharmacyA keen interest in retail pharmacyJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourLanguage:English (required)Work Location: In person
