Munich Re is one of the world's largest reinsurers providing solutions for complex risks to 40 million clients in over 30 countries.Munich Re Automation Solutions are the market leader in providing new business processing and underwriting automation solutions to the life insurance industry.The Automation Solutions division of Munich Re delivers exceptional solution-based expertise that enables straight through processing (STP), increases sales and reduces costs for life insurers worldwide.Munich Re Automation Solutions have enabled STP and "instant issue" for insurers and banks globally, who are now able to auto-assess the majority of new applications at the point of sale for a variety of life insurance products across the full spectrum of distribution channels.This has been accompanied by a significant reduction in new business acquisition costs.We are looking for a Senior Product Owner(PO) to lead the agile team responsible for customers' New Business Process including embedding AI services into our core solution.This is a very exciting time to join us as we redefine the possibilities for assisting underwriters though the use of automation and AI and build on our global leading solution.The PO will lead an agile team of BA, R&D, engineering and QA professionals in market needs and product definition, manages the product roadmap and backlog and manages the products' go-to-market execution.The PO reports to the Product Director's Dublin-based team.Key ResponsibilitiesThe PO is responsible for our digital products' and services' success:Delivering better outcomes for the insurance companies who buy our products and digital services and the consumers who use themEnsuring the commercial success of their productsEmbedding AI into our core productsEngaging the whole agile team achieving the team'sPotential for line management responsibilityDay to Day ResponsibilitiesManaging the product roadmap and backlogDefining the go-to-market strategy and executing the GTM plan in collaboration with the Product DirectorParticipating with PM peers in product agile ceremonies, managing dependencies, resourcingGain an in-depth level of understanding of the Insurance New Business Process domain – our customer's businesses and our product set.Talking to customers and internal stakeholders around the world to discover customer problems and identify requirements and AI opportunities to meet their needs.Using data to make decisions - define KPIs, set goals, milestones, and Gather data, synthesise into themes, analyse to steer product direction.What we are looking for3rd level graduate in relevant competency or equivalent experience5+ years digital services product management experience5+ Experience of working in a scaled/agile teamCompetenciesRequired:Customer FocusCollaboration and communicationOrganization and prioritizationAnalysis and problem-solvingAdvantageous:Life Insurance/financial new business process experienceInfluencing & leadership#J-*****-Ljbffr
