Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately.In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services. Community Mental Health Nurse Full-Time (37.5 hours) Permanent Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Community Mental Health Nurse. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users. Role Summary The Service actively promotes multidisciplinary team working, continuing professional development and innovation in Community Psychiatric Nursing. This includes Nurse prescribing and Advanced Nurse Practitioners roles for those people wishing to advance their education, responsibilities and skills. The CMHN has a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based, integrated care for individuals with mental health problems. The purpose of the role is also to provide assessment and support to the individual through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions to support care in the community working towards reduction in the need for acute hospitalization. Minimum Requirements Psychiatric Nurse with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. Be registered on the current psychiatric nursing division of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland Demonstrable evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team framework. Provide evidence that they are engaging in continuing professional development; Have proved demonstrable experience of flexible working and project a professional appearance/attitude fully embracing the recovery philosophy of Mental Health Nursing; Have experience of working in the mental health environment. Have a full clean driving license. Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. Remuneration Salary Grade 2301 Mental Health Staff Nurse on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €59,661 - €75,389 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is in Blackrock. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CSs other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
