Cafe Assistant

Cahercalla Community Care, Ennis is currently looking to recruit a Cafe Assistant to join their highly motivated and focused hospitality team.The Cafe Assistant will assist in the preparation and service of food and in the cleaning of the kitchen and dining area.Duties & Responsibilities:Being a friendly face in our cafe and assisting with food preparation and serviceKeeping our food service area and dining area clean and invitingProviding top-notch customer service to residents, visitors, and staffTaking orders and serving delicious food and beverages with a smileHandling transactions and ensuring the cafe is tidy and stockedHaving barista experience is an advantageSkills, Attributes & Requirements:Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality setting is a plusA warm and welcoming attitude towards customersAbility to thrive in a busy cafe environmentGreat communication skillsWillingness to work some weekendsTeam player mentalityHACCP certification is preferredAll posts are subject to satisfactory references, medical and Garda vetting.NoteThis job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role and the range of duties, it does not attempt to detail every activity.Given the nature of the work, it must be stressed that maximum flexibility is required to work in the nursing home.Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder periodically by the Home Manager
