Join our team as a Direct Freight Planner and play a vital role in shaping the success of our Land Freight product. Location: Santry,Dublin Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30 What Will You Be Doing? As a Direct Freight Planner, you will: Provide first-class customer service by understanding and meeting client requirements. Plan, arrange, monitor, and manage Direct Land Transport (LTL & FTL), ensuring smooth Door-to-Door operations. Operate DB Schenker IT systems and Microsoft Office tools efficiently. Handle customer invoicing and ensure timely processing of costs and sales. Collaborate with internal teams and external trucking partners to optimize load capacity and gross profit across European trade lanes. Monitor and respond to customer feedback, resolve complaints, and identify opportunities for improvement. Support the onboarding of new clients for seamless integration into our operations. Comply with all legal, regulatory, and company standards while promoting a safer working environment. About You To thrive in this role, you should have: Previous experience in a similar or related role, ideally within the logistics or transport sector. A customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational abilities to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in dynamic environments. Attention to detail and a creative problem-solving approach. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage customer accounts effectively and maintain up-to-date records.
