Job Summary:The Warehouse and Service Support Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and providing direct logistical assistance to service technicians who maintain and repair industrial equipment.The role involves managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of machinery parts and consumables, coordinating parts and tools for field service jobs, and ensuring inventory accuracy to keep operations running efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations:Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of industrial equipment, spare parts, and consumables.Organise and store stock in designated warehouse locations according to safety and handling guidelines.Conduct regular stock checks, and inventory reconciliations.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, or other warehouse equipment safely.Maintenance of parts and machinery.Service Technician Support:Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely availability of materials, machines and replacement parts.Log and track parts issued to technicians and update service job records.Receive returned parts, tools, and equipment from field teams; inspect, maintain and restock as appropriate.Support the service team with basic administrative tasks.General Duties:Communicate effectively with warehouse, service, and administrative staff to coordinate workflow.Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards.Report damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse and service efficiency.Job Specifications / Requirements:Education & Qualifications:Certification in forklift or pallet truck operation (preferred but not required).Full clean drivers licence.Experience:1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or workshop preferred.Skills & Competencies:Good organisational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.Basic numeracy and literacy skills.Physically fit and able to lift/move moderate loads.Awareness of workplace safety and manual handling procedures.Working Conditions:Warehouse environment (may involve standing for long periods, lifting, and exposure to varying temperatures).Full-time positionPrimarily warehouse and workshop-based, with occasional outdoor or fieldwork support.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €29,******-€37,****** per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
