The successful candidate will work with their team and various groups within IBM Hybrid Cloud to ensure the stability and availability of the Cloud Object Storage service.
The role requires a bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in the field or related areas.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, strong judgment, and a proactive approach are essential.
Creativity and flexibility are expected.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Debugging issues in production and test environments.
Analyzing and tuning system and service performance.
Developing automation to enhance deployment speed and reliability.
Implementing continuous delivery using tools like Travis, Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
Utilizing internal and third-party resources to ensure project success.
Delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
Monitoring project performance and reporting progress.
Managing client and stakeholder relationships.
Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
Maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Collaborating with peer teams to clarify project requirements.
Tracking performance to meet short and long-term goals.
Developing leadership skills and attending relevant training.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
Creating documentation such as spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
Your role as a Site Reliability Engineer includes:
Monitoring production systems 24/7 for reliability and performance.
Collaborating with engineering teams for troubleshooting and assessments.
Deploying services and configuration changes using CI/CD tools.
Implementing security measures compliant with industry standards.
Supporting system maintenance, patches, upgrades, and issue resolution.
This position involves shift rotations, working Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud.
