Join Our Growing Team at TownmoreTownmore is seeking an experienced and drivenConstruction Site Managerto oversee the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects on-site.This is a critical, hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, construction expertise, and problem-solving skills to a dynamic team delivering projects across the Life Sciences, Commercial, Residential, and Fit-Out sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Management & DeliveryLead and manage all on-site construction activities from groundworks through to final handover.Coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project schedules.Ensure all work is completed to the required quality, safety, and environmental standards.Manage site logistics, materials, plant, and labour resources efficiently.Identify and mitigate site issues early, resolving problems proactively.Health, Safety & CompliancePromote a culture of safety on-site and ensure strict adherence to company and legal H&S requirements.Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and audits.Ensure proper site documentation is maintained, including RAMS, permits, and site diaries.Subcontractor & Team CoordinationSupervise and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship.Hold regular coordination meetings and provide clear instructions to all teams on-site.Support and motivate the site team to achieve project goals effectively.Programme & ReportingMonitor progress against programme milestones and report on site performance to the Project Manager.Identify risks or delays and implement corrective actions where required.Maintain accurate site records, including progress photos, quality checks, and daily logs.Requirements5+ years' experience in a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry.Experience in Life Sciences, Fit-Out, or high-specification Commercial projects is highly desirable.Proven track record of delivering projects to programme and quality standards.Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and industry best practices.Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.Relevant construction qualification (e.g., trade background, degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent).Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other necessary site certifications.What We OfferA competitive salary and attractive benefits package.Opportunities for career growth within a progressive and expanding company.Exposure to high-profile, technically challenging projects in various sectors.A culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.The chance to make a real impact in a company that values its people and supports professional development.If you're a motivated Site Manager ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a forward-thinking, industry-leading team, Townmore is the place for you.Apply todayand take the next step in your career with one of the most respected names in the construction industry.#J-*****-Ljbffr
