Job Title:Supply Chain Coordinator – 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Permanent Role)Location:Longford, IrelandHourly rate:€***** per hourAbout the CompanyWe are a global leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, producing high-quality products for clients across the healthcare, consumer, and industrial sectors.Our Longford site is part of agrowing organisationthat is committed to excellence, innovation, and providing long-term career opportunities for its people.The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedSupply Chain Coordinatorto join our team on a6-month contract, with astrong possibility of becoming a permanent position.You will be responsible for purchasing, inventory control, and supplier management while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the plant.This role involves working closely with multiple departments, overseeing supply needs, and managing both routine and urgent procurement tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all purchasing activities, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and selecting vendors.Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.Prepare and process order confirmations, dispatch notes, invoices, shipping documents, and credit notes.Track and expedite orders, resolving any issues with suppliers quickly and effectively.Support plant operations by coordinating non-stock purchases and freight shipments (air/ocean import/export).Monitor and report on purchasing KPIs.Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure operational requirements are met.What We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar purchasing, supply chain, or inventory role.Diploma/Degree in Business or a related field preferred (experience will also be considered).Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.What's on OfferCompetitive hourly rate, based on experience.6-month contract with ahigh potential to transition into a permanent role.Opportunity to join agrowing organisationwith long-term career prospects.Supportive team culture and exposure to a fast-paced operational setting.How to ApplyPlease apply with your updated resume via this advert.
