Our client is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to join their dynamic global business in the financial technology industry.
This role, based in Dublin, offers an exceptional opportunity to practice law in a fast-paced, in-house environment as part of a highly collegial international team of lawyers and legal analysts.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the Group General Counsel and be responsible for:
advising the senior executives on all legal aspects of commercial relationships drafting and negotiating software license agreements providing actionable legal advice that aligns with strategic objectives and resolving contentious matters applying and developing risk management best practices implementing lean management principles in delivering legal services
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global role, where the successful candidate will need to become familiar with the relevant aspects of commercial law in each of the jurisdictions where our client operates.
Requirements/Qualifications
Qualified lawyer (solicitor, barrister or attorney) in a common law jurisdiction with at least 3 years PQE (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role) Proven experience within a Corporate environment or as an In-House Counsel or similar role Able to speak and write fluently in English Commercially savvy with strong communication skills Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to businesspeople Ability to work independently and think rigorously to solve complex legal issues Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment Proficiency in managing document templates and efficiently processing legal documentation
