EF Dublin is looking for an Assistant Director of Studies (ADoS) to help lead the delivery of an outstanding language learning experience on our international campus.

Your Role
As ADoS, you will have the chance to make a significant impact in our Dublin campus, working alongside the Director of Studies (DoS) in all aspects of the running, management and quality assurance of the academic department.
We are looking for a detail orientated leader who will relish the challenge of being involved in EF's ongoing academic developments, and enjoy being part of the continual professional development of the teaching team (through training and observation).
You will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence throughout the school, and be an advocate of the thought that learning is not only about the details but about the overall experience in and outside the lessons.
Responsibilities
Deputise for the DoS in case of their absence
Cover classes for teachers in case of their absence
Assist in the recruitment and development of teaching staff
Ensure appropriate timetabling of students, teachers, courses and classrooms
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards
Ensure compliance with the school attendance policy
Assist students with their enquiries and help solve any problems as required
Maintain academic resources for students and teachers
Administer tests and disseminate results and certificates
Contribute to creativity and innovation within the department
Assist the DoS in other academic matters as requested
T he ideal ADoS;
Has a DELTA qualification (or is currently studying for one)
Is a fully qualified teacher (relevant undergraduate degree & CELTA/TESOL)
Has the ability to effectively lead and motivate
Has a passion for excellent customer service standards
Is committed to the highest standards of teaching within our classes
Is a strategic thinker and planner
Is resourceful and able to handle difficult situations with ease
Has an acute attention to detail
Has a strong sense of ownership and the drive to succeed
Right to work in Ireland
At least C2 level of English
