Sales Advisor

Job Title: Sales Advisor Location: Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow Salary: €28,000 to €35,000 DOE Monday to Friday - No weekends
Role Overview Our client is a growing Trade Retailer in Co. Wicklow who are now seeking a permanent, full time Sales Advisor to join the team.

Key Responsibilities Serve customers in-store, and handle phone, email, and web orders (cash and credit account customers) efficiently Process incoming quotation requests and product enquiries Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to fully understand and meet their needs Identify sales opportunities and provide advice and solutions to drive sales Ensure the shop area is well-merchandised and liaise with suppliers as needed Assist in purchasing tasks, including processing purchase orders (POs) and goods received notes (GRNs) Support with stock control, including cycle counting and stocktaking Contribute to the day-to-day management of the store Support website administration including product listings, stock management, and order processing Maintain the overall upkeep and presentation of the store Coordinate with warehouse and yard teams to help fulfil customer orders Assist with other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the business Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures Skills & Experience Education & Experience: Leaving Certificate or equivalent required; higher qualification preferred Previous experience in trade sales, especially in building materials, is highly desirable Strong product knowledge of DIY and building materials is a distinct advantage Technical Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent customer service and sales skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience with POS or ERP systems preferred Other Desirable Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach Additional product or industry knowledge is a plus This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in a fast-paced retail and trade environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
