About Us:Salthill Hotel, a proud member of the Byrne Hotel Group, is a fourstar property overlooking the stunning Galway Bay, celebrated for its warm hospitality and exceptional standards.We are currently seeking a hardworking and detailoriented NightTime Public Area Assistant to carry out deep cleaning duties throughout the hotel during the night shift.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Night ManagerCarry out scheduled deep cleaning of all public areas including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, and function spaces.Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly (training provided).Ensure floors, carpets, glass, and surfaces are maintained to the highest standard.Complete periodic cleaning tasks such as polishing, scrubbing, vacuuming, and sanitising.Work efficiently to ensure all deep cleaning tasks are completed within set timeframes.Requirements:Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial roles is an advantage, but not essential (full training provided).Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate and staff benefits.Uniform and meals on duty provided.Supportive work environment with full training.Opportunities for career progression within our hotel and hotel group.
