Setting-out Engineer

KDM Construction Ltd is looking for a Setting-out Engineer for our new residential project in Wicklow Town. The appointed Setting-out Engineer will assume the responsibility of supervising a residential project. The person who secures this role will actively collaborate with on-site staff to ensure the project attains the highest standards of excellence. Duties: Setting-out. Subcontractor management. Site supervision of various trades and contractors. Maintain strong health and safety standards. Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate. Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract. Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff. Requirements: 5 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK. Strong Setting-out Experience. Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering. Fully conversant with the use of robotic Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.
