About Us:
Our well-established dental practice at The Grange, Dublin 13, is dedicated to delivering high-quality Minor Oral Surgery (MOS) services.
We operate on a referral-based system, providing a consistent flow of patients requiring expert surgical care in a primary care setting under local anaesthetic.
Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Minor Oral Surgeon to join our team to deliver exceptional patient care
one day per month
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out procedures such as complex extractions, impacted wisdom tooth removal, apicectomies, biopsies, and other minor oral surgeries within our fully equipped practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform minor oral surgery procedures in line with current best practices.
Provide thorough patient consultations, assessments, and post-operative care.
Manage a referral-based patient list, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.
Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols.
Requirements:
GDC-registered dentist (or IDC registration if applicable in Ireland) with a postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery (or equivalent experience in MOS).
Must have experience in Tier 2 Oral Surgery and be familiar with working within referral pathways.
Accredited as a Minor Oral Surgeon (or willing to apply - support available).
Proven experience in performing surgical extractions and a wide range of minor oral surgery procedures.
Strong communication, organisational, and patient management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, referral-based environment.
Valid Indemnity Insurance.
