Job Title: Staff Grade Occupational Therapist - Adult Primary Care Location: Inishowen, Co. Donegal (Primary Care Services) Contract Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday Contract Duration: 1-Year Specified Purpose Contract (with strong potential for extension) Salary: Aligned with HSE Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Pay Scales Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist on behalf of a well-established Primary Care centre based in Inishowen, Donegal.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is interested in working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team to support adult clients in achieving optimal independence and quality of life at home and in the community.
Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions for adults presenting with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and functional challenges.
You will work collaboratively as part of a Primary Care Team to support clients in remaining independent and active participants in their communities.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of adult clients, including those with chronic illness, disability, or age-related conditions.
Carry out functional and cognitive assessments in both clinic and home settings.
Plan and deliver individualised, client-centred interventions.
Participate in discharge planning and reablement programmes.
Collaborate with Public Health Nurses, Physiotherapists, GPs, and support services to coordinate care.
Contribute to team meetings, service planning, and quality initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in ongoing professional development and CPD activities.
Requirements: BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy CORU Registration (essential) Previous experience working in adult rehabilitation, community care, or primary care settings is desirable.
Excellent clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Full clean driver's licence and access to own transport for community visits.
