Role Purpose:The Communications Executive will support the Communications team with the delivery of consumer and corporate communications and assist with the implementation of HRI's Communications Strategy in line with strategic priorities.This role reports to the Communications Manager, working as part of a team, and requires excellent communication skills to effectively communicate to all key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery of impactful and effective communications strategies that align with HRI's strategic goals and objectives.Prepare press releases and support media relations activity.Support the delivery of HRI events including the HRI Awards, season finales, media launches and yard visits.Assist with the production of corporate publications and print material such as the Factbook, Annual Report and Fixture ListAct as liaison with designers, printers and other key suppliers.Ensure compliance with data protection, FOI and other relevant policies.Maintain corporate websiteAdministration support for various committees and forumsManagement of press office and stakeholder databasesAssist in the management of shared mailboxesMonitor racing coverage across all media platformsSkills and Experience:A third-level qualification in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related discipline.An understanding of the horse racing industry is desirableExcellent communication skills; verbal, written and presentationStrong attention to detail with high quality work outputAbility to work under pressure in a time sensitive environmentProficiency with content management systems and digital communication tools.Ability to develop strong working relationships with various stakeholdersSelf-motivated and quick to learnA collaborative team player demonstrating flexibility and a proactive work ethicMust demonstrate a high level of discretion and integrity, ensuring that all sensitive and GDPR related information is safeguarded in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.HRI places a strong emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and equality at all levels of the organisation.Any candidate who requires reasonable accommodations at any stage of the selection competition should indicate their requirements.Any queries in relation to any disability or other issue which may be addressed through making such reasonable accommodations can be addressed to or telephone Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate's eligibility to work in Ireland.HRI is an equal opportunities employer.
