Responsibilities
The Structural Engineer will be part of a team of engineers responsible for the structural design of container cranes.
Key responsibilities include:
Generating pre-processing data for structural analysis using Excel.
Performing structural analysis of crane components with ANSYS and Excel.
Appraising structural members, verifying fatigue, crippling, and buckling strength.
Analyzing structural details such as bolted and pinned joints.
Compiling final documentation.
Drawing sketches with 2-D CAD software Co-Create ME10.
Ensuring designs comply with applicable standards and codes.
Liaising with other departments to optimize product design.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Structural Engineering.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ANSYS or similar software is beneficial.
Approximately 3 years in a similar role preferred.
