The role of the Junior and Senior After-school leader involves;1.30pm from 5.30pm, 5 days a weekCaring for a small group (max 12 children) of junior and senior infants.Caring for school age children in a private setting.Engaging with parents and guardians.Working alongside other childcare educators within the service, as part of a team.The role will require candidates to help children with their homework.Plan engaging and age appropriate activities for the children in their care.Preferably willing to drive, to help with school pick-up along with another staff member.The ideal candidate should;Preferably have a minimum QQI/Fetac Level 5 in childcare or equivalent.Preferably room leader experienceDrivers license (if willing to drive)Have a genuine love for working with children.Be caring, energetic and enthusiastic.Be reliableJob Type: Part-timePay: From €***** per hourExpected hours: No less than 20 per weekBenefits:ChildcareCompany eventsOn-site parkingSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Galway, County Galway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:Childcare: 2 years (preferred)Leadership: 2 years (preferred)Work Location: In person
