Responsibilities
Be the production readiness steward for the platform by closely partnering with developers to design, build, implement, and support technology services.
Ensure operational criteria such as system availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation are implemented throughout the delivery process.
Lead the DevOps transformation at the client through tooling and by advocating for change and standards across development, quality, release, and product organizations.
Support daily operations with a focus on triage and root-cause analysis, understanding the business impact of products.
Shift left to be more proactive in development, proactively manage production and change activities to maximize customer experience and value of supported applications.
Focus on risk management with an overarching responsibility for compliance and risk mitigation across all environments; streamline and standardize traditional application support activities and centralize points of interaction with internal and external partners.
Ensure alignment of Product and Customer Focused priorities with Operational needs; provide feedback to development partners to improve the customer experience of applications.
Requirements
Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer familiar with Standard Engineering Principles.
Major responsibilities include production readiness, collaboration with developers, and DevOps practices.
Production support, deployment work, and planned maintenance; occasional 24x7 support as needed.
