Security Guard

Main purpose of the role:Purpose of this role is to provide support to Store Management and colleagues in all aspects of the Security function.The ideal candidate will have/be:Previous experience within a retail security roleHold a current PSA Security Guard License is essentialExcellent communication and customer service skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work on own initiative as well as part of a teamMain duties:Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative;Protect the Stores assetsAssist the Store Owner/Manager in preventing loss of stock/theft within the storeEnsure that the Store is a safe environment for customers and employeesKey holding responsibilities to include opening/closing of the StoreCarry out routine spot checks on waste, deliveries, closing stock, refunds, voids and employeesCarry out investigation work, when requiredMonitor CCTV records*Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programEmployee discountLicence/Certification:PSA Licence (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
