Senior Design Engineer

EASYFIX are market leaders in the design, development and marketing of Livestock Comfort products.EASYFIX currently sells its products to over 60 countries worldwide and are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to work as part of the team in the design and development of new and existing products.The successful candidate will be responsible for the full design life cycle, from concept to production, and play a key role in product development and innovation.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or related discipline.Min. of 5 years' experience in a similar role.Highly proficient in 3D Modelling (Autodesk Inventor, desired but not essential).Experienced in part design, product design, part assembly, design for manufacture and creating engineering drawings.Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.Experience with machine design or automation desirable.Independently lead product design and development from concept through to commercialisation.Maintain and update all relevant technical documentation, manuals and specifications.AttributesStrong communication and collaboration skills with experience working across departments throughout the product life cycle.Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently while ensuring projects and products are delivered in an organised and timely manner.Skilled at developing creative solutions and exploring alternative approaches, with the ability to propose innovative products based on project briefs and market needs.BenefitsSupportive company culture and enjoyable working environmentOptional company-subsidised health insuranceAnnual leave entitlement increasing with tenurePension scheme options availableEarly finish on FridaysFree on-site parkingOn-site EV charging stationsOn-site canteen facilitiesEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Potential hybrid working options after six monthsTo apply for this role, please send cover letter and CV to
