The RoleCottage Pharmacy Drogheda are currently looking for an OTC pharmacy assistant.The role will be to support the pharmacy retail manager in running all aspects of the retail pharmacy business.Working to maintain the highest ethical standards and deliver excellent customer care.The right candidate must be committed to delivering excellent patient & customer care, must be hardworking and enjoy working in a busy pharmacy.The candidate must have excellent organisational skills and must be a good team player.The Role Requires:Providing excellent product knowledge and healthcare information to customers in a professional, friendly and caring manner.Knowledge of OTC and all sections of front of shop.Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as an overall high level of attention to detail.Management of the front of shop to ensure optimal performance including stock merchandising, purchasing and promotions etc.Stock rotation and stock management which will include stock ordering, stock delivery duties and stock pricing etc.Effective communication with other staff members.Pharmacy household duties to ensure store is maintained to the highest standard.Cash handling and till duties.The ideal candidate should have:Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.The ability to build a strong working relationship with all team members in the pharmacy.The ability to prioritise and work in a confidential environment with a high attention to detail.A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.Flexibility and be available for evening work.Qualifications & Skills Required:2+ years OTC experience.Pharmacy Counter Assistant course would be an advantage.BenefitsNo weekends.Competitive Salary offered depending on experience.Employee discount.Full training provided.Pay:Attractive salary available dependant on experience.Application Deadline: 03/09/25Job Type: Part-timeExpected hours: ******* per weekBenefits:Employee discountStore discountExperience:Sales: 1 year (preferred)Customer service: 1 year (preferred)Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 03/09/2025
