Financial Accountant

HireForce is delighted to be working with a rapidly growing Start Up in the Pharmaceutical Industry that is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The Financial Accountant will be instrumental in overseeing the companys financial management, reporting, and strategic planning. This role encompasses key accounting, finance, and administrative responsibilities, supporting the organization as it enters its next phase of growth. Collaborating closely with the CFO, this position presents an excellent opportunity to grow within an innovative and expanding company with a global export footprint. It is ideally suited for a partially or fully qualified accountant eager to advance their career. Key Responsibilities: Develop internal financial reports to facilitate strategic analysis of business performance, growth trends, and inform management decision-making. Produce external financial reports for stakeholders, offering a detailed summary of the organizations financial status. Oversee and support the annual external financial audit process. Analyze and report on the company's cost structure and product performance. Establish and maintain cash flow planning and monitoring systems to meet operational budgets effectively. Manage costs related to direct labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. Provide financial insights and planning to guide strategic decisions and support global expansion efforts. Uphold strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial operations and data. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while promoting operational effectiveness and efficiency. Partner with the team to optimize financial systems and streamline processes for improved performance. Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals. Requirements: 3 years+ in a finance or accounting role. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software. Strong ability to analyse financial data and deliver actionable insights. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
