Purpose of Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Payroll Specialist will work closely with the team to deliver weekly and monthly payroll runs accurately and within strict deadlines.

Key Functions:

  • Providing world class customer service to employee payroll queries.
  • Generating timesheets from our rostering system in a timely manner.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel expenses, and BIK.
  • Reconciliation of payroll files weekly and monthly.
  • Keep abreast with company policies and tax legislation that impact on remuneration.
  • Continuous improvement of all payroll processes across the finance team by liaising with HR and IT.

Qualifications And Skills:

  • Working knowledge of ROS and pay legislation.
  • Experienced in using payroll systems.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good communicator, both verbal and written.

Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector extremely desirable.
  • Experience in working in a growing and changing environment.
