Overall Goal
Manage and oversee all day-to-day financial aspects of the organization and its related entities:
Provide accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support senior leadership decision-making and risk oversight.
Implement and maintain all financial-related activities, including the development and maintenance of financial, accounting, and operational strategies, systems, and processes.
Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all finance-related daily operations.
Maintain strong working relationships with banks, auditors, tax- and regulatory authorities as well as with other external partners
Cash- and liquidity management of the group and its companies
Management of the accounts receivable and -payable related to the lending business
Support operational teams of the organization (sales, funding, legal & compliance) by:
Running the Portfolio-/collateral management of the loans and related collaterals (aircraft) of the group
supporting the sales organization as well as the funding team in performing their duties
performing records management of business-related documents
Support the financial risk management operations of the organization:
Ensure compliance with financial, tax, audits and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions and all legal entities of the group.
Develop and implementation of strategies, policies, and processes that enable sustainable risk oversight and risk-conscious growth
Provide independent view on the financial risk (including liquidity-/refinancing risk) of the group and its entities
Collaborate closely with the CEO of Invicta Finance and senior management to enable key decision-making.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks
Finance & Operations
Maintain and improve financial and operational IT systems and processes to support current activities and future growth.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial data and operations
Manage all accounting functions for the organization and related entities.
Monitor financial performance by preparing and presenting financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and (audited) annual reports for all entities and ad-hoc analysis.
Manage invoicing and payment workflows, ensuring proper verification of documentation and accurate disbursement of funds.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all local financial and tax regulations and recommend actions where necessary.
Provide periodical cash flow forecasting and run the daily/weekly liquidity management, ensuring financial stability.
Establish strong working relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, banks, advisors, and auditors, while maintaining credibility.
Support preparation of funding and investor materials as required.
Develop and manage the organization's budgets and financial planning processes.
Banking Relationships & AML Duties
Banking Relationships Management:
Act as the day-to-day contact for all banking partners, ensuring strong, collaborative, and transparent relationships.
Oversee and maintain banking agreements, ensuring competitive rates, optimized services, and effective communication with financial institutions.
Liaise with banks to address and clarify flow of funds, account structures, and transaction processes.
Flow of Funds & Cash Management:
Manage and track the flow of funds for the organization and related entities, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and financial best practices.
Provide detailed clarifications to banking partners regarding transaction flows and supporting documentation, as necessary.
Ensure smooth execution of all payments and receipts, including those related to third-party entities.
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Responsibilities:
Support communication with banks regarding AML reviews, ensuring proper documentation and explanations are provided.
Conduct or support as appropriate due diligence on transactions and ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML standards.
Monitor suspicious activities and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and reporting where required.
Conduct regular reviews of AML and compliance practices, ensuring continuous alignment with changing regulations.
Collaborate closely with senior management to provide financial insight and analysis.
Support business development initiatives through financial analysis and deal evaluation.
Provide leadership to the finance team by supervising and mentoring team members.
Identify potential financial risks and propose mitigation measures.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Experience as a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or similar senior finance role.
Proven leadership skills with hand-on attitude to manage this key function within Invicta Finance
Strong financial planning/reporting and analysis skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights to the leadership team.
Experience with accounting (IFRS), tax, legal compliance, AML, and risk management across jurisdictions.
Strong understanding of accounting- and ERP-systems, with the ability to implement improvements as needed.
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including banking institutions.
Strong knowledge of legal- and regulatory frameworks in the financial sector, including AML compliance standards and corporate governance best practices.
Experience from working in asset-backed financing (ideally in aviation financing) is highly desirable
Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) advantageous.
