Accountant, Not For Profit, Dublin NorthDublin NorthPermanentReference: *****-AQAn established organisation funded through public resources is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its Finance team.This role is central to ensuring strong financial management, effective use of resources, and compliance with financial standards and controls.This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who is motivated by purpose-driven work and who wants to contribute meaningfully to a values-led organisation.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making and efficient service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsMonitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performanceAnalyse variances and provide clear reporting and commentaryEnsure full compliance with financial procedures and accounting standardsSupport reporting to senior leaders and governance committeesTrack capital budgets and align with funding requirementsContribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiativesMaintain strong internal controls and financial systemsSupport both internal and external audit processesProvide financial insights to support planning and decision-makingContribute to the development of financial strategies and policiesAdvise management on financial risks and opportunitiesPrepare presentations for executive leadership and boardsTrack and report on key financial performance indicatorsEncourage high performance, teamwork, and accountabilityLiaise with stakeholders across departments and external bodiesKeep up to date with financial regulations, policies, and best practicesRequirementsProfessional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experienceStrong financial reporting and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareExperience in Lean Six Sigma highly desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and project management abilitiesA very attractive benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.To apply, please email your CV to Anne Quinn , our consultant managing this assignment via the email link below or contact**********Please fill out your details below to be included on our regular newsletter mailing list.Our newsletter will keep you up to date with the jobs market and keep you one step ahead of your competition.***** Merchant's Quay, Dublin 8, D08 NT3K, Ireland.#J-*****-Ljbffr
