hotel.The Role:Reporting to the Front Office Manager, we are looking for an experienced, energetic and dynamic candidate for this role.As Assistant Front Office Manager you will have the ability to lead, direct and work in partnership with your team.Good computer skills and the ability to communicate fluently in English are essential for this role.Excellent customer care and interpersonal skill are also essential.You will be a professional and enthusiastic individual and have prior work experience in front office within the hotel sector.About The RoleDuties will include:To assist the Front Office Manager and support the front office team.Assisting in the efficient running of the front office activities ensuring highest standard of customer serviceResponsibility for training and development of existing and new members of staff through use of SOP'sTo carry out receptionist & reservation cover - Welcoming guests to the property, providing effective check-in and check-out and operating the switchboard when requiredTo deal with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficientlyMonitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future businessMaintain a thorough understanding of properties facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contractsTo make sure the highest standards of customer care are met at all timesTo provide friendly and efficient service and available at all times to assist with any queriesTo assume responsibility for any issues in the absence of Senior Management and to ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all timesTo manage staff ensuring company policy is adhered to at all timesUse of onsite computer systems as well as email and Microsoft packagesThe ideal candidate for this position:Must have previous experience in front office role in a hotelPrevious PMS experienceBe courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of serviceMust be a team player with the ability to multi taskBe able to cope well under pressure.Be able to work on your own initiative.Must be standards driven and detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the hospitality industryMust possess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommunicate
