Please note that this is a weekend shift position based in Waterford.
Principal Responsibilities:
Manage FILM production and the introduction of new technology through team leadership.
Conduct Standard Work for managers and monitor standard work for OSS/Team Leads and operators.
Train staff and participate in workplace innovation, aligning with the tier management system.
Oversee production activities, including PPI, yields, downtime, quality metrics, and resource utilization.
Initiate changes to work practices and procedures.
Provide technical leadership to ensure operational issues are managed to meet KPIs and improve performance.
Promote decision-making at operative and technician levels by fostering a strong team culture.
Promote a quality culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and cGMP.
Conduct performance appraisals and develop training and development plans for operators.
Coordinate communication within the unit and with other departments.
Manage team attendance and timekeeping.
Maintain high standards of Environmental Health & Safety practices.
Meet budget targets related to output and expenditure.
Key cGMP Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with SOPs, gowning, PPE policies, hygiene, and EHS procedures.
Participate in GMP training programs and maintain accurate training records.
Requirements:
3rd level qualification, preferably in a technical discipline.
Previous supervisory management experience in a manufacturing environment complying with FDA and cGMP requirements (unionized environments preferred).
Strong leadership skills to motivate and direct the process team.
