As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic design team, working with our experienced Engineers you will receive constant technical support to quickly gain knowledge and experience in fire engineering projects.

Jensen Hughes encourages all Engineers to achieve chartered status via the Institute of Fire Engineers and offers help and support during the process.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the fire engineering analysis of exciting projects involving new and existing buildings.
You will work on a wide range of buildings such as high-rise office buildings, large retail complexes and airport developments, each providing unique challenges in developing an innovative fire engineering strategy.
You will analyse fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control by various methods including computer modelling software such as Computational Fluid Dynamics.
The preparation of technical reports and liaising with our clients is an important part of your role.
Requirements and Qualifications
To ensure you're ready to succeed from day one, you'll need to bring the following qualifications and experience:
Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
A Master's degree (achieved in the last two years or expected) in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Physics.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Additional qualifications/experience
A team-player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
A second European language is an advantage but not essential.
