Health and Safety - Dunboyne, Co.Meath or Kilcullen, Co.KildareAn exciting opportunity to join Ireland's leading independent manufacturer of concrete and bituminous construction materials.Kilsaran require an experienced H+S Administrator to join their growing H+S Team.This position reports directly to H+S Management.This position would suit an individual with solid administrative and reporting experience.The position will involve detailed administration and generation of reports, slideshow presentations and capturing health and safety trends.Prior experience in health and safety is an advantage but not a requirement.This position can be based out of one of the following two locations:Head office, Piercetown, Dunboyne, Co.Meath - A86W820Brownstown, Kilcullen, Co.Kildare - R56VE86Responsibilities:Proactively championing the health and safety function across sites with the HSE Team.Aid in set-up, monitoring and coordinating of Safety Induction Training for all new employees and sub-contractors and maintaining documentary evidence of same.Assist all Managers with training needs e.g. Manual Handling, Forklift Training, Emergency Response Training, etc.Renewing QSCS Training cards for company employees.Assist with the development of Emergency, Evacuation and Traffic Management Plans for site.Ensuring that correct PPE is availed of at all times by all relevant employees.Assist with maintaining and achieving the Safe T Cert & ISO ***** Accreditation Environmental Management Systems for the company.Attend regular Health & Safety & Environmental meetings.Assist with the preparation of Health & Safety Meeting Slides and Seminar Presentations.Assisting the H&S Team with logging Safety Training records to a Safety based storage system.Skills Required:Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Excellent attention to detailHighly organised, self-motivated and excellent time-management ability.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.What You Get:Kilsaran is an organization that believes that our people are our greatest strength, and our success is down to the dedication and enthusiasm of our team.As such, we have dedicated benefits structures to reward our team.The benefits on offer for this position are as follows:Competitive SalaryAnnual BonusTwenty-one Days Annual LeaveAdditional Benefits:Sick PayConstruction Workers Pension SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCycle-to-work schemeFurther education/training and development supportCareer progression opportunitiesHiring Process Upon Application:Telephone Screening1 round interview processOffer Letter to Successful candidate
