Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our global music operations team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting business requirements, preparing data sets, training, evaluating, and deploying Machine Learning (ML) models, as well as monitoring their performance and retraining models as needed.
This role focuses on improving the user experience in the media domain, including music, video, and images.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, use cases, and business metrics.
Work with data engineers to set up data pipelines and prepare data sets for model building.
Partner with business domain experts to understand data and create features for model training.
Design, build, and evaluate machine learning models.
Work with the SRE team to deploy models for inference and monitor their performance.
Retrain models as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate and explain models to business partners to secure adoption.
Qualifications
10+ years of industry experience in machine learning.
Strong experience with machine learning tools, libraries, and frameworks such as scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, PyTorch, and MLlib.
Excellent knowledge of major machine learning algorithms, including statistical regression and deep learning.
Proven experience in training and evaluating ML models with proper pipelines and metrics.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and various database technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

Compensation
Pay Range: $50/hr - $60/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
