Maintenance Technician - 4-Cycle Shift I am working with a leading plastics manufacturer to recruit a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join their team in Limerick. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment and machinery to ensure efficient production. You'll be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products while upholding strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Include: Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a safe working environment. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on production equipment. Conducting preventative maintenance and promoting TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives. Assisting with the introduction and validation of new tooling. Troubleshooting and optimising machinery and processes to minimise downtime. Supporting the design and development of new tools. Driving Industry 4.0 and maintenance best practices. Training and mentoring team members on processes and safety. About You: The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for maintenance excellence. Key Requirements: Experience in injection moulding is a plus (training provided). Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/automation systems. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous. Willingness to travel globally to provide technical support. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Core Competencies: Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Understanding of PM (Preventative Maintenance) and TPM. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Interested?
