Unit 4D, Western Business Park, Shannon, Co.ClareJob SummaryThis role is in the Finance department.Job DescriptionRole and ResponsibilitiesManagement of Month end close routine including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and income statement analysis for the various Irish entitiesMaintain Accounts Payable and Receivables system on Herbst for the companyPreparation of customer sales invoices including collation of billable hours and preparation of Activity LogsEl, Eurostars and R&D Tax Credit claim submissionsPreparation of cashflow and budget projectionsTax compliance and submissions to RevenueAdditional accounting reports as requiredLiaise with external Auditors, Bank, Payroll and Government authoritiesCover of monthly Payroll (knowledge of payroll an advantage, but not essential)Attend cycle stock counts and reviewing results of sameWorking with cross functional teams to provide finance supportPrepare audit files for external auditorsAdministrative duties preparation of ad hoc reports as requiredSpecific duties associated with client services are specified in client contracts/service agreements.Ensure protection of client confidential information in accordance with Non-Disclosure Agreements.Support group companies in costing of inventory and ad hoc pricingEnsuring that BOM and SKUs are properly maintained on ERP for Group companiesManage team of finance personnel – mentor, train & develop themCarry out annual review and performance appraisals for the teamQualifications and Education RequirementsRecognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).At least 3 years PQE, working in a similar position in a multi-national environment, preferably in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals.Good working knowledge of ERP accounting packages with an exposure to process improvement projectsStrong MS Office Skills with a focus on Excel.Strong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities.Team player with flexible and hands-on approach where requiredExcellent interpersonal skills, communication skills (written and oral), customer focus (internal and external) and attention to detailNote: This description reflects essential functions and does not prescribe nor restrict tasks that may be assigned.#J-*****-Ljbffr
