DescriptionThe opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK's & Ireland's Building Services sector.Alternative Heat design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.What We Do:We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe.We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.Team Overview:The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects.By maintaining organised inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays.Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management.Role Overview:The Warehouse Operative will play a key role in the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.You'll be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential.The role involves both manual handling and the use of warehouse equipment, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Job Title | Warehouse OperativeLocation | DundalkHours | Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 7am-3pmSalary | Competitive Depending on ExperienceResponsible to | Multi-Site Warehouse ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate possesses a proactive and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and good organisational and time-management skills.While previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred, it is not essential.The role requires someone who is physically fit and capable of lifting or moving heavy items, and who demonstrates basic literacy and numeracy skills to effectively carry out daily tasks.About Alternative HeatWith over 20 years of experience within the Commercial Offsite Fabrication industry, Alternative Heat have established themselves as a market leader in this sector.Located centrally between Dublin and Belfast our 8.5 acre Head Office and fabrication facilities, which are fully equipped with overhead cranes and 8,000m2 of workshop floor area, provide an ideal factory construction environment which is reflected in the high quality solutions we offer.We employ a strong team of design engineers, CAD technicians, contracts managers and skilled trades personnel who utilise their vast industry experience to assist in the design, fabrication and delivery of our bespoke MEP solutions, which we supply throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
