As Technical and Compliance Assessor you will be joining an industry leading telecommunications company in designing and deploying gigabit networks in Ireland. You will play a leading role in the compliance team working closely with the Quality and Training team providing the in-house technical training delivery for the field teams; identification, documentation, and reporting of trends in technical competence as a basis for facilitating continuous improvement of the companies services in the field.As Technical and Compliance Assessor your new role will include but not be limited to the following:Act as the recognized subject matter expert (SME) to advise managers, supervisors and field teams on technical compliance, safety and quality best practices as per industry standards and regulatory requirements.Complete site audits and ensure build is to client and company specifications. Resolve any deviations on site and input any audit findings into company system to ensure reporting is accurate and KPI's traceable.Have input into the "book of knowledge" specific to Technical Compliance across the business, which allows for more fast and effective deployment of new teams in network deployment projects, ensuring service excellence.Provide mentoring to effectively develop talent and transfer skills into the organization for the development of field teams.Act as a primary point of contact for project technical compliance escalations and resolve issues promptly and effectively.Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on service performance and improvement initiatives.Support the maintenance and accreditation of our Training Centre, as a smart awards centre.Essential experience should include the following:Ideally 5 years plus in a hands-on Network Field Technical role & or similar role in fibre network deployment, show tenacity for continuous performance improvement.Excellent technical communication skills; both written and verbal.A positive attitude and collaborative approach with strong interpersonal & influencing skills to motivate staff to continuously improve their performance.A thorough knowledge of both Overhead & Underground Fibre Deployment.A thorough knowledge of the Fibre Network GIS application at Field Operations Level.IT proficient and familiar with use of Microsoft, email, laptop and email.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a teamWillingness to travel as requiredFull drivers' licence.Experience working with tablets / phonesBenefits include:Competitive salary in a dynamic and technology driven environment.Company Vehicle / Fuel Card / Daily SubsistenceFocused career development and progression opportunitiesFlexible Benefits Programme - a choice of flexible Benefits options like Health Insurance / Pension / Income Protection / Fitness - Gym Membership / Additional Annual Leave.If you feel this " Technical and Compliance Assessor" role is something you may be interested in and you would like to be considered please apply via the button shown.Contact Anne or Michael at Wellington Professional Recruitment if you would like to discuss the role specifics in more detail.Please also be aware that any correspondence or discussions related to this opportunity will be conducted with the utmost of confidentiality.This vacancy is being advertised by Wellington Professional Recruitment Ltd.
