SAP Landscapes Ltd has created and sustained Ireland's most prestigious landscapes for over 40 years.All employees are required to work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work delivered is to an excellent standard and that the work is completed in an efficient and timely manner.SAP Landscapes Ltd expects all work to be delivered to a high standard.We are looking for a experienced and skilled Tractor Operator to join our growing landscaping team.The ideal candidate will primarily focus on operating tractors and a low loader, ensuring the landscape is well maintained and meets the standards of our company and clients.This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with the role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.Position: Tractor OperatorLocation: MaynoothReporting to: Landscapes Team LeaderContract: Full TimeKey Responsibilities:Moving materials and machines using a tractor and low loader.Operate tractors with wide pull-behind mowers and cultivation equipment.Work closely with the landscaping team to ensure the aesthetics and health of the landscape.Equipment Maintenance and Safety:Conduct daily checks on tractors and attachments to ensure they are in safe and operational condition.Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning, oiling and minor repairs to prolong equipment life.Report any equipment malfunctions or needs for major repairs to supervisor.Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or damage.Team Collaboration:Work in harmony with other landscaping staff to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.Provide feedback and suggestions for landscape improvement.Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.Miscellaneous Tasks:Assist with other landscaping tasks as needed which may include planting, watering, fertilizing and more.Stay updated with the latest landscaping techniques and machinery enhancements.Requirements:Previous experience operating tractors and low loaders essential.Knowledge of basic tractor maintenance and safety procedures.Familiarity with other landscaping equipment and techniques – an advantage.Ability to work in various weather conditions.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality landscapes.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Training & Development:At SAP Landscapes, we believe that our most important asset is our people.That is why we like to promote from within and develop employees to progress further in their career.Package:Rate of Pay: €***** DOEFull TimeEAP Programme in place (Employee Assistance Programme)Annual BonusOvertime Available (at attractive rates)PPE ProvidedPension Facility (T&C's)Uniform Support SchemeAssistance with costs covering additional licences & courses in horticulture field available (T&C's)Bike to Work Scheme (T&C's)Social EventsFree Parking
