Temporary Traffic Management Coordinator – DublinAyrton Group are seeking Temporary Traffic Management Coordinators to join our client, an Engineering group, on a major public transport infrastructure project in Dublin.This role plays a key part in facilitating smooth project operations and close collaboration with the project Design & Build Contractor to minimise disruption and promote safety within the work zone.This is an initial 6-month contract role with the potential for extension, commencing as soon as possible.The primary work locations will be at the main site office in Dublin 7 and at site compounds across County Dublin.This role offers day or night shift schedules, as well as weekend hours.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing short-term traffic arrangements on, and around, construction or infrastructure sites.Project management activities to support the co-ordination of traffic licences as part of a design & build contract.Reviewing temporary traffic management plans submitted by the Contractor with respect to scope requirements and feedback from key stakeholders.This may include administrative duties associated the processing of traffic licences using the RMO MRL System.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address any queries associated with temporary traffic management plans with respect to the Contract Scope and stakeholder feedbackSite supervision activities for approved temporary traffic management plans being implemented on site to ensure they correspond to permitted licencing agreements.Maintaining site records and reporting to the site supervision team.Key Experience:Required to have 5+ years' traffic management experience with at least 2 years' experience carrying out temporary traffic management activities on construction projects in a live urban environment on high value road projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.Further demonstrable experience and knowledge in the following is desirable:Chapter 8 Traffic Signs Manual design regulations;Analysing traffic survey data;Traffic Management Orders and procedures, including T1, T2 and T5 traffic permits processes;Interpreting traffic signal modelling reports and data to inform and steer project design;Road safety, traffic incident management, traffic control and safety procedures;Working knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations;Driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards;Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.Key Qualifications:Required to have a bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent).Formal training/certification in Chapter 8 is desirable.Temporary Traffic Operations Supervisor (TTOS) is desirable.SLG CSCS card is desirable.Safe Pass accreditation is desirableAdditional Requirements:Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and teams within a construction environment.Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies.Familiarity with the Road Management Office systems for processing Traffic Permits.Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Ability to create a collaborative culture across the project team.Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues.Excellent stakeholder negotiation and management skills.Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service.High level of attention to detail.Ability to work in a challenging environment both on their own initiative and as part of a team.#J-*****-Ljbffr
