FS Audit Manager | Top 5 Firm | CorkOur client, FS Audit, a part of Grant Thornton, is seeking passionate and self-motivated individuals to expand their team due to their exponential growth.This exciting opportunity will give you exposure to various industries such as Banking, Asset Management, Funds, and Insurance, and the chance to collaborate with clients both locally and globally.As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large and diverse portfolio of clients and ensuring that quality audit work is delivered while building and maintaining strong client relationships.You will also be supervising and training junior members of the team, preparing and presenting business tenders, managing work in progress and billings, and taking full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team.What's On Offer —A competitive compensation package with a defined career pathTraining and support from their dedicated learning and development teamDefined Contribution Pension PlanSubsidized healthcare insuranceWedding leaveHybrid working week – blended arrangement where you can work from home, at the Grant Thornton office or client sites depending on business, client and teams needs3 pm finish on Fridays during the summer months and before a bank holidayMain Responsibilities —Project management: managing a large and diverse portfolio of clientsPromotion and oversight of quality audit work on your client engagementsManagement of client relationshipsSupervising and training junior members of the teamPreparation and presentation of business tendersWorking capital management: managing work in progress and billingsClient fee negotiationTaking full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit teamAbout you —ACA/ACCA qualifiedMinimum 5+ years' experienceExperience in Funds and/or SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle)Strong technical skills (Irish GAAP and auditing standards; IFRS experience an advantage but not essential)Electronic auditing experience; ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlinesAbility to make professional judgments based on findingsPortfolio management experienceStrong attention to detail and analytical assessmentExperience working as part of a team supporting othersCommercial awarenessExperience gained in a Big 4 accounting firm would be advantageousSound like something that's of interest?Please send your details through the link below and we'll be in touch for a confidential discussion on the detailsAll applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence#J-*****-Ljbffr
