Do you want to work in a recession proof industry?Do you see yourself in a career instead of just a job?THEN, WHY NOT JOIN FRESHTODAY, IRELAND'S #1 SCHOOL LUNCH PROVIDERFreshtoday are a dynamic, fast-paced company, servicing the whole of Ireland with Healthy School Lunches.Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for Canteen Operatives nationally, with fantastic opportunities for successful candidates.Freshtoday are looking to hire a Canteen Operative to join our expanding team and work in Rathgarogue National School, New Ross, Co Wexford.The successful candidate will be required to work five days per week (Monday – Friday) approximately 9:******:00.These hours are subject to change depending on each school's demand and lunch schedule.Minimum Requirements:· Leaving Certificate or equivalent QQI award· 1+ years experience in a service based roleThe ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate they are/have:Essential Criteria:Highly organisedSelf-motivatedGood attention to detailAbility to follow procedures and processesWork well on their own or in a teamBasic IT Skills Essential (email, MS Excel, MS Word, etc...)Must have good problem solving skillsMust be friendly with a positive attitudeThis role requires standing throughout your shift and lifting of oven trays and food boxes.Applicant must be physically fit, without neck, back or shoulder problems.Desirable Criteria:Deli/canteen/food service experience a distinct advantageLevel II or III Food Hygiene/Food Safety Management a distinct advantage but not essential as training will be providedPLEASE NOTE:Due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates will be required to obtain full Garda Vetting as part of the on-boarding process.Benefits:No more childcare issues – when the school is off, you're offMonday to Friday with 3-4 hour work daysCompany EventsRecession proof industryWork/Life balanceExternal TrainingFull induction and training will be provided for this role.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPay: €***** per hourBenefits:Company eventsFood allowanceOn-site parkingEducation:Leaving Certificate (required)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (required)Licence/Certification:HACCP Level 2 Certificate (preferred)Work Location: In person
