I am currently working on an Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist role on a Part Time basis for the Southeast (Kilkenny & Waterford).
My client sells a range of Surgical Orthopaedic Devices (Hip, Knee, Shoulder Etc) and is keen to speak with Healthcare Professionals (Theatre / Scrub Nurse / Physiotherapists) who have exposure to Orthopaedics Devices in a Surgical environment.
An excellent opportunity for an Orthopaedic Surgical Nurse who wants to make the move into the Commercial Sector.
You will be required to work Thursday and Friday, with the option of a third day (probably Wednesday) but a little flexibility on this area is required.
No weekend or nights shifts.
This is a Part Time Contract requiring 3-days a week, 21 hours minimum.
Covering an elective surgical environment, you will clinically support a range of Orthopaedic Surgery's mainly in Hip and Knee Implants.
Along with a Full Training Programme on all the Devices this opportunity comes with a Company Car so you can cover the relevant Hospitals on Territory (Southeast) –

Role:
Through an understanding of the hospital theatre environment, the individual will assist with the ongoing support of existing orthopaedic reconstruction customers and help implement business in new accounts by supporting the safe and efficient clinical use of the company's products and the management of associated stock and equipment.
Duties:
Provide customers with technical advice and appropriate training on the safe and effective use of the company's products and surgical techniques, primarily in a theatre setting
Engage with both existing and new surgeons to develop robust sales opportunity pipeline and advise appropriate sales leads
Support customers with activities relating to the management of the company's stock and equipment including consignment inventory, loan kits, ordering patterns
Maintain up-to-date records of customer activity on the company's CRM system, including information on customer usage, purchasing protocols and relevant competitor activity, working jointly with the appropriate Territory Manager/Sales Lead
In addition to the customer facing activity, the Clinical Specialist will also support the development of product & procedure knowledge with the sales team.
This may be teaching in a theatre setting, classroom teaching, or involvement in our Induction Training Programme
Experience:
2-3 Years Min.
Surgical / Theatre experience in Orthopaedics Surgery (Scrub Nurse)
Full Clean Driving License
I am also willing to consider Hospital based Physio's with good Ortho Surgical knowledge
